"Hurrah for Israel!"

Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball were called to a mission in England. They were leaving their young families and were so sick they were unable to walk and had to be carried out by wagon... but upon their departure and looking back at their families they lifted themselves from their beds and swinging their hats three times over their heads, shouted: “Hurrah, hurrah for Israel.”

Reason For The Blog's Title

Shealyn has been nicked name many times... ShappaDappa, Shea-rella, etc.... Most were given by her family members... but there is one, given to her by friends and teammates, that has seemed to stick with her... SUNSHINE. Her rec softball team would encourage her by singing "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day..." or yelling out "you got this Sunshine". So... when Shealyn's mission call was announced to the "world" and one of her sweet cousins commented "OH sweet, golden girl going to the golden state!" I thought yep... California is going to be getting a bit brighter when Sunshine arrives.
